Charity and Fundraiser Support

Many charities and fundraisers look to Mike Weir, Weir Golf, and The Mike Weir Foundation for supporting their varying and respective causes.  While Mike would love to be able to help all deserving causes, The Mike Weir Foundation has been established to advance the physical, emotional and educational welfare of children.  Requests must be in accordance with that mission for them to be considered.

Outlined below is our process for dealing with various types of requests and who to contact if you believe your request meets all the criteria and falls into the identified categories of support listed above.

Memorabilia

Weir Golf Authentics offers memorabilia with “charity” rates for registered charities and non-profit organizations.   All items are offered on a consignment basis and subject to conditions.  There is no risk or obligation to your organization.

Personal Appearances by Mike Weir at Fundraising Events

Due to the busy nature of Mike Weir’s personal and professional life, Mike is not able to commit to any personal appearances at fundraising events for other organizations and foundations. 

Autographs

Mike Weir attempts to accommodate all those seeking autographs each week he plays on the PGA TOUR throughout the year.  Please do not send any personal items with the request to have Mike sign it.  Your item will be sent back to you unsigned. 

Grants

The Mike Weir Foundation evaluates all grant requests and proposals.  Please visit www.themikeweirfoundation.com for more information on how your charity can apply for funding.

Wine Donations

The Mike Weir Estate Winery is a small production winery in Niagara-On-The-Lake.  The proceeds of the sale of the wine go to The Mike Weir Foundation.  No donations of wine product can be made to other charities or fundraising events.  To order your own bottles of Weir Wine or for more information please visit www.weirwines.com.
